Hempy seed balls

I apologize for this sloppy recipe but my style of baking is very artistic and poorly engineered.  I will attempt to add measurements here but there will be no promises!  And please tweak it as you see fit. 2 parts hemp seeds 1 part cocoa nibs 1 part chia seeds 1 part cranberries dried 2 Tbsp apple sauce 2 Tbsp maple syrup – mix everything and let it stand for 15 min so chia can absorb moisture.  Add wet/dry as needed to get the right consistency.  You should then be able to squeeze them into a measuring spoon (1 tsp) and press-roll them out with them holding their shape....

Choco Energy Balls – School friendly

You can adjust this recipe any multitude of ways to your own tastes and school restrictions. 1/2 cup sunflower seed butter 1/8 cup agave syrup/or maple or honey 1 tsp cocoa/or carob powder 1/4 cup coconut flakes 1/4 cup cocoa nibs/chocolate chips 1/4 cup raisins or dates or cranberries or prunes 1/8 cup hemp seeds 1/8 cup pumpkin seeds or sunflower or sesame (nuts if not for school) Mix together sunflower butter, syrup and cocoa powder thoroughly.  Add 1/8 cup coconut flakes, cocoa/chocolate nibs and dried fruit – Mix.  Let this sit in fridge 1-2 hours.  Roll out small balls into...

I think I’ve finally done it?!  my best bread yet. 3 Tbsp. chia seeds 1/4 cup apple sauce 1 cup hot water 1 cup cold water 2 Tbsp. honey 2 Tbsp. grapeseed oil 1 tsp vinegar 1 cup almond flour 1 cup sorghum flour 1/2 cup chickpea flour 1/2 cup buckwheat flour 1 cup tapioca flour 2 tsp yeast 2 tsp xanthum gum pinch of salt 2 handfuls of sunflower seeds and/or hemp seeds and/or pumpkin seeds and/or flax   Add all ingredients in this order to your bread maker.  Select the dough setting.  Pour into parchment paper lined bread pan immediately after bread- maker beeps done.  Allow to...

Gluten free Bread – contains eggs – Barb Mindell

1 cup Cold water ¾ cup Hot water 1 tsp Vinegar 2 Tbsp Olive oil 2 Tbsp Honey 3 Eggs 2 cup Rice flour 1 cup Tapioca flour 1 cup Chickpea flour 2 tsp Yeast 1 tsp Salt 2 tsp Xantham gum 2 handfuls Sunflower seeds 1 handful Flax seeds Add all ingredients to a bread maker according to manufacturers instructions Bake 350° for 35-40 min.  Cover once bread is brown with foil to prevent burning.
